Folkwoods 2009

The intimate, Folkwoods 3 day festival (with around 1800 visitors daily), hosted by Philips de Jongh in the beautiful park in Eindhoven, has a good reputation among visitors and artists. The slogan "Of enthusiasts, by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts" fits best with the festival.

35 (inter) national performances, both in the 4 tents and on the outdoor stage. 150 friendly volunteers, great (free!) sanitary facilities, adequate seating, drinks from glass and eating from tableware. Children, camping, workshops, instrument builders, balfolk, films, focusing on sustainability, beautiful decor and atmosphere make it a super party weekend complete!

The just ended 10th was another fine performance experience for everyone. More than 30 music acts, camping, children and luxurious!
